Christmas 2009

The girls got Canada Olympic shirts when my mom came for a visit. Here they are displaying them proudly. We watched the opening ceremonies and Isabella really got into it. She was so excited and clapped at the events!

The girls have started a new school now that we've moved to Allen. They are going to a Montessori school and have uniforms to wear. I bought them matching lunch boxes withtheir names on them. It's a challenge to make them something both nutricious and something that they'd eat and keep it different everyday.

Here they are the first day of school. So cute!

We got so much snow this year! We had more snow than my family got in Canada. Crazy! We decided to make a snowman with carrot nose and all!

Here's Nonna and the munchkins

Daniela reading a book on the potty.
I wonder where she gets that from Daddy!

The weather here in Texas is crazy one day it's 75 degrees and the next day it's snowing! We've had a few nice days so we took the kids to the park in our neighborhood. Hopefully we'll be getting lots more of those days.

Daniela on a horse of course!

Gabrielle, Camille and Liam came to visit over Christmas break.

We took the kids and Vic to the Gaylord Texan to see the "ICE" exhibit. This year it was Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Amazing sculptures. We try to go every year. They come from China and sculpt the exhibits. Over 4 million pounds of ice. They give you jackets to walk through since it's so cold.

At the end they always have the nativity scenne. Beautiful!

Isabella & Nonna enjoying the other exhibits inside the Gaylord Texan Resort. They always have a decked out lobby and foyer. There's trains and little towns for the trains, cookies for the kids to decorate.

Daniela the movie star

Daniela with her "little mommy" doll. It looks just like her. Uncanny!

Grandma's and the kids on Christmas day.

Can you believe we actually had snow on Christmas day.
I think that's the first time in 80 years.

Christmas this year was interesting with the move. We all worked really hard and got moved in and had a fun Christmas with the kids. We didn't set up a tree this year so we put our presents around the snowman we bought. The kids didn't know the difference. Next year we'll put up the tree.
