Isabella = Big Sister

Also, Miss Isabella doesn't seem to mind the new addition! In fact, she looks at Daniela with a captive glare and, occassionally, a BIG SISTER smile.

Daniela

After much ado, we are pleased to introduce Daniela Lucia Boswell who tips the scales at 7 lbs 4.2 oz and who is just over 19 inches long. She and mom are doing well all things considering. Yes, there is a similar picture of Mary and Isabella taken just after Isabella was brought to Mary.
This kid has hair! And I don't mean brown hair; rather, we're talking thick, dark brown hair like Mary's. She has long toes and fingers to finish off her unique features.

A Few More Days To Go!

Well, I just finished my last day of work on Friday. Tuesday I go in for my C-section. By 1pm we should have a new baby girl. I hope Isabella takes it well. Her world is about to change, along with ours, in a good way. It's been nice having my mom here to help out. It's been a real blessing. I'm just ready to move on with this pregnancy and have this baby!

Isabella's new haircut

Isabella's hair was getting a little too long so Nonna gave her a really short haircut. It took a little getting used to but she looks cute with long or short hair. Short is good for the hot summers here in Texas!

Bubbles

Mike's parents came over a few weekends ago to help us bring home and setup the new baby's bed. Isabella and her sister will be sharing a room for now. It's a little crowded with two cribs but I don't think they'll mind.
Grandma brought some bubbles for Isabella
Cousin Caitlin is blowing bubbles for Isabella to catch.

Summer Fun

On Memorial Day we met up with our friend Jennifer and her son Harrison. We took the kids down to the pool for a swim. They loved the splashing around in the water. This was Isabellas's first time in the pool.

Isabella and daddy had fun swimming. She seemed to really enjoy the water.

She got to wear her new bathing suit and water shoes.

Isabella at school

They've started transitioning Isabella to move up to the next classroom. Here she is having snack time with the older kids. She should be going there in about a month or so. She really needs to be independently walking before they'll move her over though. She's almost there, she still need some assistance but she's in her cruising stage right now and can get all over the place and into mischief.
